Spiritual and Moral Values

At Holy Childhood of Jesus School your child receives an education that is grounded in the Catholic faith.  Spiritual and moral development permeates the entire curriculum at Holy Childhood School.  Many non-Catholic families also benefit from the fruits of an education that focuses on the total student:  body, mind, and spirit.

Academics

Catholic schools are renowned for academic excellence. Students in Catholic schools consistently score in the top 1/3 on nationally standardized tests. Iowa Assessments test scores of Holy Childhood students are consistent with these national scores.

Parental Involvement

Parental involvement is a critical part of Catholic-Christian schools like Holy Childhood.  Our very active H.O.P.E. organization meets monthly and conducts various fundraisers to help support specific programs for students throughout the year.  Many parents volunteer in the classroom, in the lunch room, and on field trips.  To see a list of the organizations in which you, as parents, might want to participate click here.
