Our Facility

Our school facility has been around for a long time.  Our school building has a certain character about it that warms the heart.  Recently, $20,000 in building improvements and renovations were made to the school.  Each classroom has ample space and is air-conditioned. A new playground was installed as well as a new gym floor in 2018.  A renovation and expansion was completed in 2020 which includes secure main entrance, office suite, elevator, science lab and updated restrooms. In 2022, all classrooms received brand new, state-of-the-art Smart Boards.

Our Catholic Identity

Holy Childhood School’s student body is comprised primarily of students from the Catholic faith tradition.  However, students from all faith traditions are welcome and regularly enroll.  If you are non-Catholic and would like to speak with one of our non-Catholic school families, please let us know.  We would be happy to make the connection.  Our children participate in liturgies that include Mass and various prayer services, classroom prayer, preparation for sacraments and daily meditation and reflection.  As part of our school’s emphasis on spiritual development, children experience many different kinds of service projects throughout the school year.

We encourage you to talk to students and parents about their experience at Holy Childhood.  We are confident that you will hear that the school delivers on its educational promises.

Our Proven Results

Catholic schools like Holy Childhood are renowned for academic excellence. Students in Catholic schools typically score in the top 1/3 on nationally standardized tests. Holy Childhood students consistently perform very well in the IOWA Assessment tests each year.  If a student does need additional help, resources are available from a very qualified team of auxiliary teachers who provide both remedial and enrichment resources.
